Proactive means to anticipate a positive attitude and do an action much earlier than the occurrence of something that originally did require such action. The proactive leader also has the initiative and will make wise decisions and is responsible for the decision.

For example, Tan Sri Dato' Loh Boon Siew is a proactive entrepreneur. In the 1980s, that motorcycles are on the roads is nearly 70% Boon Siew Honda model. The key to its success is that he is always a farsighted and able to anticipate and always ready even though he was illiterate and cannot read.

He is willing to pursue the motorcycle involved to see more closely the characteristics of motorcycles involved because he thought the motorcycle Honda is suitable for use by the public because of their small size and light weight suitable for Asians on average smaller than the motorcycle made Europe.

Therefore, he has managed to become the sole distributor of Honda motorcycles in Malaysia to be appointed by Honda Motor Japan Limited as he attempted to influence the manufacturers. He was a person who managed to put the Honda as the third largest vehicle sold in Malaysia since 3 years ago.

As a conclusion, he has managed to Tan Sri as a successful businessman because he has a proactive feature.
